We have assembled some key figures regarding CORE’s success story and its sustained growth. Quantitative metrics illustrate past developments and relate to our history up until today, highlighting project locations, employees, diversity as well as IT budgets under management.
CORE has offices in Berlin, Dubai, London and Zurich. In 2019, we completed projects in China (Hong Kong), Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, Singapore, Argentina and the United Arab Emirates. With approximately 90 projects in 2019, CORE covers five industries and sectors: banking, insurance, automotive, biotech and the public sector.
More than 150 COREmembers from 24 nations focus on IT strategy, IT architecture, solution design as well as software development. 38% of our colleagues working on client projects have STEM background (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), 61% have economics and 1% have humanities background.
Estimates and various sources place the overall ratio of women in computer sciences at between 14% and 18%. CORE is committed to diversity and agility, we are proud that 26% of our employees are female and are working on further boosting our ratio. We are 31 years old on average. Our cultural diversity helps us maintaining a holistic view in our projects.
IT budgets (CtC and RtC) totaling EUR 2.1 billion (project budgets under management) were allocated to the projects implemented by CORE in 2019. We are proud that clients have expressed their trust in us to this extent and consider this an obligation for the future.
