    Artur Burgardt

    Artur Burgardt is Managing Partner at CORE and specialized in the management of agile implementation projects within complex contexts. As a theoretical physicist, he gained his first professional experience as a Business Analyst with large financial service providers and acquired basic knowledge regarding the development of core banking systems. This career step led him to CORE. With his extensive knowledge and in addition to projects with clients, Artur is responsible for the knowledge management at CORE.

    Christian Böhning

    Christian Böhning is Managing Director of CORE and responsible for COREconsulting with a focus on planning and steering of complex IT transformations, especially in the context of architecture modernization and realignment of IT organizations. Christian holds a degree in computer science and has more than 15 years of professional experience in managing technology-driven transformations in the financial industry. Before founding CORE, he was responsible for designing and implementing transformations of core banking systems at major banks in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

    Fabian Meyer

    As Managing Partner, Fabian Meyer is responsible for COREconsulting, focusing on the internationalization of CORE's offerings. In the client dimension, he is responsible for the implementation of complex IT projects with a focus on mergers & acquisitions, payments and transaction banking. During his business studies, which he completed with a master's degree in Mannheim, he gained experience as a management consultant and founder. He has several years of consulting experience in the technology sector.

    In his role as Managing Director, Holger Friedrich is responsible for COREadvisory. He has been working in the software industry for more than 25 years and concentrates on the development of IT strategies, as well as the support of IT restructuring and development programs - also in his function as interim Senior Manager. After studying computer science and German studies, Holger gained experience in various positions, including as a systems engineer and entrepreneur, and held management positions at market-leading technology providers.

    Martin Groschke

    As Managing Partner, Martin Groschke is responsible for COREengineering. He holds a degree in business administration and is responsible for the insurance sector within CORE's client portfolio. In addition to further developing our human resources division, he is also involved in expanding our network with universities and colleges. During his studies, he already worked in a leading position at a student consulting firm as well as within the frame of various projects for internationally renowned consulting companies.

    Dr. Philipp Kleine Jäger

    For over two decades Philipp has been working in finance and IT developing core banking software. Besides a master’s degree in materials science and a PhD in electrical engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he also worked as lead architect in a large banking institution where he was responsible for the formulation of a digitization, cloud strategy and IT strategy.

    Philipp has extensive technology and development experience and supports our clients in implementing cloud native, distributed microservice architectures. As a Principal Architect he leads the IT Architecture Practice which is catering for stateless event sourcing systems determined by the CAP theorem.

    As a Transformation Director at CORE, Dr. Mirko Schiefelbein is responsible for COREresearch´s activity. With a doctorate in humanities, his focus is on analysing and discussing the effects and potential of technological change, and pointing out opportunities. Mirko has overseen a large number of publications on innovative topics in the context of technology transformations. As well as his commitment to research and publication, Mirko has over six years’ experience in consulting for technology-based businesses, where the experience gained during his studies is particularly advantageous in the area of strategy, analytics and methods.

The focus lies on business analysis, requirements engineering, solution design, implementation steering, quality management and go-live management. The result is the regular delivery of IT systems within agreed budgets and deadlines. 

    Dr. Carsten Wedekind

    As an Expert Director at CORE, Dr. Carsten Wedekind focuses on the strategic alignment of IT architectures. Furthermore, he acts as co-chairman of the lending working group of the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN). With a PhD in physics, he has many years of experience in the implementation of IT projects. Before working at CORE, Carsten assisted well-known international companies with introducing standard software packages as well as with individual developments.

    Patrick Drescher

    Patrick Drescher is an Operations Expert and responsible for operations management and maintenance of global IT systems. He holds a degree in electrical engineering with a focus on telecomunications and communication networks from TU Berlin. Before joining CORE, Patrick gained extensive experience in the management and operation of high-performance data bases as well as high availability applications for global telecommunication companies.

    Roger Regitz

    As a Transformation Director, Roger focuses on complex IT transformation projects. With a degree in mathematics and computer science he is not only managing large scale projects in the financial sector but also develops technical tools to improve operative transformation management. He has a profound history in IT project management for more than 20 years, for example as program manager and IT lead architect in various industries.
