Anti-Aging for IT Systems​ - Evolutionary architecture: taking advantage of technological innovation cycles​

Continuous technological change is forcing companies in various industries to act in order to guarantee competitiveness. An essential component is the up-to-dateness and adaptability of the IT infrastructure and the application systems integrated in it. It is noticeable that IT systems exhibit characteristics of a natural aging process, in which the qualitative condition and the efficiency decrease over time. In order to meet these challenges, technology and architecture management processes must be integrated to make changes implementable and controllable at the technical and organizational level. It is essential to mitigate the aging process through proper IT management and, at the same time, to exploit the potential of the latest technologies for the company's own innovative strength.​
