Information security and data protection in the cloud - Compliance through automation in secure infrastructures

The cloud replaces not only a company's own data centre and many on-premise applications for managing its own data, it also helps to meet compliance requirements, because hyperscalers provide more and more tools that enable users to implement compliance obligations more efficiently and effectively than when operating their own hardware and applications. If doing without cloud services means doing without excellence in one's own core competence, then conversely the use of cloud services strengthens one's own excellence in the core competence that differentiates one from the competition and in legal compliance.
