Initial situation

Together with an association, a scientific institute wants to establish a platform that creates transparency and comparability within the available selection of pension products. In the course of this, a scientifically based calculation logic will be developed together with partners from the banking and insurance industry in order to subsequently develop a strategic and technical concept - on the basis of which the platform will be implemented.

• Conceptual design and development of a free, secure and neutral platform for the digital consolidation of existing pension products
• Aggregated evaluation of the findings as a basis for future reforms  
• Establishment of a marketplace for and with the providers

Conceptual design

• Development of a suitable IT strategy that is aligned with the market-specific challenges
• Creation of an IT security concept based on the use of sensitive contractual data
• Specification of the required sequence diagrams and interfaces
• Elaboration of a consolidated IT concept to initiate implementation

Development

• Functional analysis of the pension calculation logic and the associated requirements for the platform
•  Derivation of the technical requirements for the connection of the platform to subsequent partners from the insurance industry
• Partner onboarding and integration into the pension cockpit
• Implementation of the solution and parallel development of further releases
